To promote digital India, the civil aviation ministry is planning to make flight boarding process completely paperless and moving towards biometric process by linking databases of airlines and airports and passengers' IDs such as Aadhaar and passport number, for which you only need your mobile phone. Due to the linked database, the process will become convenient for passengers as well as authorities.
