In a first, Saudi Arabia has decided to offer tourist visas, opening up the kingdom for the tourists and holidaymakers. This is an attempt to diversify the kingdom's economy from oil. The crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a vision of preparing the biggest Arab-economy for the 'post-oil' era. "Visitors will be surprised... by the treasures we have to share," Tourism chief Ahmed al-Khateeb said in a statement.
