Extreme increase in Indian immigrants becoming US citizen

Content HeadIn 2005, 69% of the eligible immigrants from India decided to opt for the US citizenship. However, in 2015, that percentage has increased to 80%, which is the maximum increase for any origin country for eligible immigrants choosing to become US citizens. After India, it is Ecuador that has experienced the gain with 12%. Between 2005-2015, nearly one million citizenship applications have been denied by the US.
