Pennsylvania state attorney sued Uber

Ride-hailing company Uber has violated a state law requiring it to notify victims of a data breach within a “reasonable” time frame, accused a Pennsylvania state attorney and had filed a lawsuit in Philadelphia. Uber tried to cover up the data breach for over a year instead of notifying the affected people or filing any complaint. Washington state and Chicago have already sued Uber over this issue.
