No more blanket in AC coaches of Indian Railways

Soon Indian Railways likely to stop providing blankets in AC coaches. After the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) rapped Indian Railways over cleaning and management of linen and blankets provided in AC coaches, Railways is set to do away with them, finding it unviable to get them washed at regular intervals. Instead, AC coaches will administer the temperature at 24-degree celsius, as opposed to the current 19-degree celsius.
