New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has banned the entry of travellers from India temporarily amid a surge in Covid cases in the country. The ban on entry of travellers from India into New Zealand will come into force from April 11. "I want to emphasize that while arrivals of COVID from India has prompted this measure, we are looking at how we manage high-risk points of departure generally," Ardern said.
