Mysterious mummies discovered in ancient Egypt burial ground

Excavations and explorations into Egypt’s ancient past remain operational. Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities recently announced they have unearthed 5 limestone sarcophagi and four wooden coffins containing human mummies inside a burial shaft located in Sacred Animal Necropolis in Saqqara. It’s an ancient burial ground that's about 20 miles south of Cairo and is also home to landmarks like Step Pyramid.
