The Gujarat High Court dismissed more than 120 petitions filed by farmers against the land acquisition by the government for the Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet train project. The decision was made by the court on Thursday by a division led by Justice A S Dave. The court said that the compensation offered by the government to the farmers is fair. However, they can demand higher compensation from the government.
