Mumbai-Delhi: The 3rd busiest air route in the world

Every day 130 flights fly between Mumbai and Delhi, the financial and political capital of India and make this the 3rd busiest domestic air route in the world. In 2017, 47,462 flights have been operated between these two airports, next to only South Korea’s Seoul- Gimpo Jeju and Australia’s Melbourne- Sydney route. This survey was based on the number of flights between two airports and not two cities.
