Two missing hikers have been rescued alive after surviving for 18 days in the New Zealand wilderness. Jessica O'Connor and Dion Reynolds were hiking into the Kahurangi National Park on May 9. They were supposed to stay there for five days. By Wednesday, five tracking experts, three dog teams and two helicopter crews joined those searching for the hikers. Bad weather earlier in the week had hampered the search.
