Maharashtra Government renames Aurangabad airport as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Airport

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddav Thackeray-led government declared to change the name of Aurangabad Airport to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Airport. This was done as a tribute to the great Maratha warrior Sambhaji Maharaj. Apart from this reports, the government announced Sindhudurg airport would be completed by the end of March 2020 which will ease travelling. There are more than 25 air strips and airrports in Maharashtra.
