LTC provided to railway employees for the first time

For the first time, even the railway employees can now avail Leave Travel Concession (LTC). A circular issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) says that the government servants working in Indian Railways are not entitled to the LTC facility as they have “Free Pass” facility. However, Seventh Pay Commission that it should be included in the LTC fold.
