Last minute airfares from Delhi witnessed a record 28% surge

Thursday, the last minute airfares surges from Delhi to other domestic airports have witnessed a 28% surge amid the delayed and disrupted flight operations due to smog, bad weather conditions and visibility problem. The spike took place due to the high cancellations and the hike was maximum for Delhi to Kolkata flights, which was nearly 47% followed by Delhi to Chennai flights with 34% surges.
