Ladakh administration removes Inner Line Permit restrictions

The Ladakh administration has done away with the Inner Line Permit restrictions, making it possible for all Indian nationals to visit notified protected areas without any additional permission. Earlier, tourists had to obtain an Inner Line Permit before visiting the inner areas of Ladakh. The order was approved by the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, RK Mathur. The Lieutenant Governor also launched Ladakh Police’s, Tourist Wing.
