KCR to privatise 50% state buses; striking employees get 3-day deadline

Telangana CM KCR said that 50% of state buses will be privatised and gave striking employees of TSRTC a 3-day deadline, to return to work by midnight of Nov 5. 48,000 employees & workers unions of TSRTC began an indefinite strike from Oct 5 across Telangana. They demanded RTC's merger with govt & recruitment to various posts. CM said if the employees do not resume their duties before the deadline, they would lose their jobs.
