Jaipur to get its first all women railway station

Gandhi Nagar’s railway station in Jaipur is all set to be India’s first all-women station. From checking tickets to selling them, all the activities will be operated by 40 women. The staff will be divided equally for each task, as in, 4 will look after the train operations, 8 will handle bookings, 6 will handle reservations, other 6 will check the tickets and so on. They will work in three shifts of eight hours.
