The UNWTO said that the number of international tourist arrivals will drop by 20-30% in 2020 due to the coronavirus, putting millions of jobs at risk. The drop in arrivals will result in an estimated loss of $300-450 billion in international tourism receipts. UNWTO's secretary-general Zurab Pololikashvili says tourism is among the hardest-hit of all economic sectors with millions of jobs at risk of being lost.
