Indian Students are Wary of Heading to Trump's US

The number of Indian students heading for education in US is dropping rapidly. Comparing to 2016, when 65,257 visas were issued, in 2018 there is a sharp drop of 27% and only 47,302 visas were allotted. Tightened H1B visa policies, along with uncertainties regarding the career of international students are some of the reasons behind this drop. Canada and Australia are becoming two popular destinations for career.
