Indian Haj pilgrims can travel through the sea route

Saudi Arabia has agreed to India’s plan to ferrying Haj pilgrims via the sea route. Along with that, for the first time, Muslim women will now be allowed to travel for Haj, even if they have no male guardian with them, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has declared today in a statement. For the women pilgrims, separate transportation, accommodation along with women “Haj assistant” will be provided.
