India’s First ‘Gold Standard' Train launched

Under Swarn Project, Indian Railways launched its 1st gold standard train, New Delhi-Kathgodam Shatabdi Express. This new train will cover a distance of 282 km and updated with refurbished interior, toilets, automatic hygiene control systems and onboard entertainment services. This project was launched in June this year and aimed to update 30 trains like this- 15 Rajdhani and 15 Shatabdi. Staff will also get a new uniform.
