India improved its ranking in world travel & tourism competitiveness index

According to a latest WEF report, India has moved up six places to rank 34th on world travel and tourism competitiveness index. In 2017, India's ranking was 40th. The reports say, India has shown the greatest percentage improvement to its overall travel and tourism competitiveness index score that has finally helped in its overall ranking. However, India still needs to improve tourist service infrastructure, it added.
