Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad begins operations today

The Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, 32km away from Delhi has begun to operate from today. The airport is ready for its first flight after a wait of almost 8 months. The Hindon Airport is constructed adjacent to the Indian Air Force's Hindon airbase. The first flight to take-off from the airport will be a 9-seater plane that will fly to Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district. The flight is owned by Heritage Aviation company.
