Foreign tourists may have to wait till 2023 to travel to India

The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has said that entry of foreign travellers in India may not start before 2023 amid the coronavirus outbreak. The agency cited the survey by the International Air Transport Association according to which, nearly 80% of visitors were not keen on travelling to India in view of the restriction in place due to the pandemic. However, foreign arrivals to India are likely to grow over 18 million by 2030.
