DGCA warned Indigo airlines that its airbus A-320 Neo planes could face a disastrous situation if they continue to operate with faulty engines. The warning came after DGCA was alerted by the US FAA & told Indigo to urgently modify the critical 3rd stage of the Low-Pressure Turbine on all A-320 NEO plane engines. The faulty engine blades could break free during a flight leading to engine failure which could end in a fatal accident.
