Flights to and from UK cancelled by Air India for a week

Amid a sharp surge in coronavirus cases in India, national air carrier Air India has cancelled flights to and from the UK for a week starting April 24. The decision came after UK added India to its travel “red list” over the surge in Covid cases. “Between April 24 to April 30, we are in the process to schedule once a week flight to the United Kingdom from Delhi and Mumbai,” the airliner said in a statement.
