Delhi Women to get free bus rides from today

The ambitious plan of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party, to give free bus rides to women in Delhi, will come into force from today. According to the plan, women passengers will be given pink tickets having face value of Rs 10 each by the conductors for free ride. Delhi government will then reimburse the transporters based on the number of pink tickets issued. The government gave approval to the scheme on August 29.
