Delhi metro loses 3 lakh commuters due to fare hike

Content HeadA steep fare hike has caused Delhi metro to lose around 3 lakh commuters in a day and instead of 27.4 lakh daily riders as per September reports, in October it came down to 24.2 lakh average daily ridership. The Blue line and yellow line have 30 lakhs and 17 lakhs commuters respectively according to the DMRC data. Presently, Delhi Metro covers more than 218 km network across NCR region.
