A report mentioned that Delhi IGI Airport has emerged as the 12th busiest airport in the world after a jump of 4 spots in 2018. With this jump, Indira Gandhi International Airport has left behind Frankfurt, Dallas Forth Worth, Guangzhou, and Istanbul Ataturk airports. Airports Council International report stated that IGI saw 6.9 crore domestic and international flyers in 2018, which is 10.2% points higher than in 2017.
