Covid-19 negative report or vaccination proof necessary for entering Goa

Amid a sudden spike in Covid cases, the Goa government has made it necessary for tourists to have either a Covid-19 negative test report or proof of vaccination against the infection, for entering the state. Chief minister Pramod Sawant said tourists "will have to produce valid RT PCR [reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction] negative test reports". He added that this will be applicable only to tourists.
