West Bengal Chief Minister has written a letter to Prime Minister Modi asking why are flights still being allowed to move in the country and has asked the Centre to stop flights from landing in the state, in the wake of the novel coronavirus. Mamta said in her letter that the government is enforcing a lockdown across the state from 5 pm and is also taking several painstaking measures to prevent spread of the novel coronavirus.
