Commuters may soon be travelling from Greater Noida to Jewar International Airport on driverless pod taxis

Uttar Pradesh's upcoming Jewar International Airport will likely be connected with Greater Noida using pod taxis. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has been tasked with developing the pod taxi service. "Pod taxis are a revolutionary mode of transport widely being used in many western countries," said Dhirendra Singh, BJP MLA from Jewar. The high-end travel system will be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 50 to 60 crore per km.
