International cargo facility to be provided in Coimbatore

According to reports, a world class international cargo facility in COIMBATORE to fully tap the export cargo business in a year is being planned by the Airports Authority of India. The facility will include an exclusive freighter aircraft bay for cargo flights to land and a completed automated storage and retrieval system. Numerous industrialists have a belief that this facility can be utilized fully only if flight connectivity is improved.
