‘Avoid non-essential travel to Iraq’: India issues advisory amid tensions, warns air carriers

India has issued a travel advisory for its citizens amid the building tensions between Iran and United States. Raveesh Kumar, the spokesperson of MEA, took to Twitter and said, "In view of the prevailing situation in Iraq, Indian nationals are advised to avoid all non-essential travel to Iraq until further notification. Indian nationals residing in Iraq are advised to be alert and may avoid travel within Iraq.”
