Amit Shah flags off Vande Bharat Express, train to reach Katra from Delhi in 8 hours

Union Home minister Amit Shah gave a green signal to the semi-high speed train, Vande Bharat Express, on Thursday that will run between Delhi to Katra. The train will officially run from Oct 5 and will take just 8 hours to reach Katra (Vaishno Devi) from Delhi, reducing the previous travel time by 4 hours. Train no. 22439 will depart from the New Delhi railway station at 6 am to reach Katra at 2 pm. The minimum fare is Rs 1,630.
