All visa appointments cancelled by US embassy, consulates in India from March 16 amid Coronavirus outbreak

As the number of cases of the Novel Coronavirus has soared to 83, including the death of 2 patients, the US Embassy and Consulates in India have cancelled all visa appointments from March 16. Once Mission India resumes regular consular operations, appointments will be made available and you will be able to reschedule," the US embassy said in a statement issued by it. The virus has been declared as a pandemic by WHO.
