All railway stations to be LED lid by March 2018

Ministry of railways is working to provide 100% LED lights to the railway stations in an attempt to save 240 millions units of electricity annually. It is a huge initiative to provide energy efficient lighting to all the stations within the end of the financial year (March, 2018). That work is already in progress and it will also save Us. 240cr annually if implemented completely.
