All Railway coaches to be equipped with Bio-toilets by 2018

During an event in Germany Ravindra Gupta, Member (Rolling Stock), Ministry of Railways announced that under "Swachh Bharat" mission, Railways has decided to introduce Bio-toilets in all coaches by December 2018. He also talked about the role of Indian Railways in promoting sustainable mobility. Audio-Visual film on Indian Railways was also shown highlighting low carbon transport initiatives being taken by railways.
