All migrant labourers must be sent back in 15 days, Centre must give trains in 24 hours of demand: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court, while hearing a PIL on the plight of migrant labourers across the country said all migrant labourers stranded away from home with no work must be transported back to their home states within 15 days. The apex court directed the centre to provide additional trains to states within 24 hours of demand. All migrant workers will have to be be identified through registrationz the court added.
