Air India services restored after a major shutdown due to its server

At around 3.30 AM the SITA server of Air India was taken down for maintenance due to a breakdown and it remained down till 8.45 AM. But the CMD of Air India, Ashwani Lohani has a few minutes ago announced that the services have been restored and the delays due to the shutdown will be handled. Nearly 2000 passengers got stranded at the Mumbai Airport due to the server shutdown. People faced problem across the world.
