Hardeep Singh Puri, the aviation minister recently announced about the loss incurred by Air India for FY 18-19. He said that the loss of Air India has climbed to the highest ever loss ever recorded since the time it has merged with Air India. The government in the past had approved a 30,000-crore turnaround in 2012. Rs 29,464 crore amount of debt has been transferred Assets Holding Co from Air India Ltd.
