After Mumbai, Chennai metro is most expensive

Travelling in Chennai is a costly affair compared to other cities except Mumbai, in India. In Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kochi, the fare is capped between Rs 40 to Rs 60, where in Chennai the fare is capped at Rs 70 which is only second to Mumbai metro (Rs 110). The officials have said, keeping in mind the cost of construction the cost they have set is low.
