A survey “Family Travel Trends 2018” was conducted which states that Asian families travel more than Western families. It showed that Asian travelers take 5 short and 1-3 night trips throughout the year whereas Westerns take 2 trips a year. Maximum Asians take grandparents along with them as compared to Westerns. 77% in Thailand and 62% in the Philippines claimed to have taken 5 or more family trips in a year.
