2,214 Delhi Metro passengers fined in 9 days for not wearing masks

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has imposed a fine on more than 2,000 people for not wearing masks in the station premises and inside trains in the past 9 days. At least 2,214 commuters got fined between September 11 and September 20 for not wearing masks. Apart from this, over 5,000 people got counselled by the DMRC to follow the new travel guidelines. A special flying squad has been formed by DMRC for its 9 operational corridors.
