A train with stainless steel exterior, without any color coating has been introduced by Indian Railways. The first-of-its-kind Antyodaya Express has been handed to the southern railways and it will run as unreserved train for “superfast services”. The waste from the paint of a train rake is potentially hazardous. However, only the exterior has been paint-less, while the interior will remain same.
