A team of electrical engineers at the University of Texas at Austin, US has developed the world’s smallest memory device yet in collaboration with Peking University scientists. The scientists claim that a cross-section area of just a single square nanometer has been used to make the memory device. The researchers also claim to have understood the physics dynamic that unlocks dense memory storage capabilities for such devices.
