Singapore has become the first country in the world, as claimed by its president, to try the driverless electric buses on its roads by Sweden's Volvo Buses on Tuesday. It was made jointly with the researchers from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University. It is a 12 meter long Volvo 7900 electric bus. The firm has claimed that it will require 80% less energy than its diesel-powered counterparts.
