Scientists installed the 2 highest weather stations in the world during an expedition to Mount Everest by a team led by National Geographic Society & Tribhuvan University. They installed 2 weather monitoring stations at 8430 m & 7945 m as well as 3 other stations across Everest. The data obtained from these stations will help in understanding how rising global temp impact the rapidly melting glaciers.
