Work from home for Google employees extended till June 30 next year

Amid the continuous surge in the coronavirus cases across the globe, tech-giant Google has decided to allow most employees to work from home through to July 2021. "To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don't need to be in the office," the company's CEO Sundar Pichai said. Around 2 lakh Google employees can use the option.
