The May 2019 Update of Windows 10 reportedly suffers from a bug that damages the color settings and calibration your monitor. While Microsoft insists it has fixed the problem with a recent update, some users claim this doesn’t actually solve the problem. Although luckily there is a usable workaround. Due to the bug, the colors are reproduced incorrectly with banding (vertical lines) appearing in color gradations.
