WhatsApp agreed with Indian government regarding the safety of the users

WhatsApp recently revealed a significant number of Indian journalists and activists were under surveillance by an Israeli software. Indian govt asked the social media platform to explain the matter. Whatsapp spokesperson has said that they agree with Indian govt's concern about the safety and privacy of the citizens and that they have taken strong action to get hold of the cyber attackers accountable for this.
